The form that my Art takes is mostly painting on Silk.
My subject matter is that which I love and value most on this Planet, the Natural World; NATURE, and our relationship with it. I paint irises, butterflies and other small creatures, but I most often paint the BIRDS, especially the CRANES. They are iconic, symbolic creatures for me. My life has been greatly enriched by observing them.
I believe that THE TIME IS NOW for us to do ALL THAT WE CAN to make sure that those natural Places that have meant so much to us, remain; and those other species of life that have touched our hearts, are here for our grandchildren and their grandchildren to experience and enjoy. My art is my intention that that may be so.
